Run 4:22:00 [3] 33.0 km (7:56 / km) +3710m 5:05 / km
slept:8.0 shoes: Brooks Adrenalin ASR #2

Drove Eastlink to Josh's and back, very nice and easy. Too many Sunday driver's checking it out on the way back though.

Run in the Dandenongs with Josh. Up Hansen then the singletrack up to One Tree Hill, down and across the paddock to Sherbrook Forest, down the middle to the pub at Belgrave, up to Grant's Picnic area to the bottom of the Sassafrass Creek Trail, ran the long slog up to Sassafrass, then the road to Wal's place for a 15 minute chat. Up to Olinda for a jam donut, down Channel 10 and Cammilea Tracks to the bottom of the Scar, straight up, then back down Channel 10 Track and the dirt road to the gates at Doongalla, then back to Josh's. Plenty of climbing, but the legs felt good. We may have recruited Wal for next Sunday's run. We'll see ...

Ran the Kananook Creek Trail to Frankston, then the foreshore track to the Carrum Bowling Club, then did it reverse back home. Negative split by 15 seconds. Now my legs hurt.

Ride 3:21:30 [3] 55.0 km (3:40 / km) +1010m 3:21 / km
slept:8.5 shoes: Giant XTC Team

Rode to Frankston and met Rob Davis, my 'Mt Eliza Ranges Tour Guide' for the morning. We rode small walking / single tracks plus a bit of road to the top shop at Mt Eliza, then traversed around the top of the quarry before going straight down to the bottom. From here we rode some really nice off road sections and ended up near the top somewhere. Then rode a cool single track section following alongside a creek to Walkers Road, then to Canadian Bay and back to Rob's house. Rode home pretty hard from here. Was a really cool ride which I'm not sure I'd find again - it's taken Rob 10 years to find it all. Was a tough ride as Rob always pushes the pace, kept up okay though.

Rode the back way to Frankston, then up Oliver's Hill and into Mt Eliza via Humphries Road. Found three different hills and did a couple of reps up each. Then rode home via a couple of other hills. Very windy day!!!
