Run (Lorne 8hr Rogaine) 7:52:00 [3] 39.0 km (12:06 / km) +4957m 7:24 / km
slept:8.0 shoes: Salomon XT Wings

Rogaine at Lorne with Dave. Dave did most of the nav, and did it very well! Good area but the cp placement didn't allow for much route choice options. Tracks were really nice to run on, once off road though it was VERY slow going (thick bush and uneven ground). Ran pretty much all the flats and downhills, had a couple of shorts (5 - 10 minute) flat spots but legs and feet were good. Dave survived well also on paddling arms ...

Ride 1:48:00 [3] 38.0 km (2:51 / km) +1346m 2:25 / km
slept:6.0 shoes: Crusty Merida

Dave had driven my bike out to his work in the morning to drop it off to Josh's for a little TLC. It most definately needs it, the back wheel won't spin and we cannot figure out why! Anyway, rode out ot Josh's and met Dave, finishing under lights. Wasn't an easy ride finishing about 300 metres higher than where I left, and had a steady headwind the whole way. Good strength ride.

Ride 1:37:00 [3] 39.0 km (2:29 / km)
slept:6.5 shoes: Crusty Merida

Evening ride, with the last section under light. Walkers and riders were pulling over and stopping unsure as to what was approaching them from behind as I had my HID lights on high. Rode bike tracks to Dandenong then trialled the new Eastlink tracks for the first time. Quite disappointed after riding through a couple of areas I know to be 'trouble spots' so turned around and rode home with a little bypass out east.

Ride (Wind trainer) 1:30:00 [3]
slept:8.0 shoes: Giant TCR One (road)

Watched the tour stage last night (go Cadel!) so slept in a little this morning. Jumped on the wind trainer and cruised for a bit, then cruised a little less, then even put it into the big ring to finish off, before a short cool down spin. Feeling stronger these days.
