Note
(rest day)

Started work at 3pm yesterday afternoon, got home at 8.30am this morning. Bit of an epic shift including some stealth napping in long grass in a road / gully gutter. Back to work at 5pm this arvo as not to waste a day off.

Ride 2:29:30 [3] 55.5 km (2:42 / km)
slept:8.5 shoes: Crusty Merida

Rode the Eastlink / Dandenong Creek bike trail out to Ringwood, then the bike track along the Eastern Freeway. Did about 6 u-turns throughout the ride finding where the tracks link together. Got a little lost through Jells Park and did a few extra kms getting back on track. Not a bad ride all up, quite undulating heading into Ringwood then towards Box Hill. Met Dave at Box Hill 2 minutes after he got out of his exam - good timing.

Turns out my roller blading crash on Saturday hurt more than I thought - I have quite a sore wrist, but I think all is okay. Rode out to Wal and Ged's place up to the top of Sassafrass. Once at the bottom of Ferntree Gully it's a real grind all the way there, with no breaks. I wore my roller blading wrist guard on the left wrist as a pre-caution.
