Inline skating 41:15 [3] 11.3 km (3:39 / km)
slept:10.0 shoes: Rollerblade Lightning II

Late arvo skate with Dave and Josh at Ferntree Gully. Did a full lap of the bike track. Was surprised to get my skating mojo back so quickly after only the one skate since Spain. Finished with Nandos for dinner as a starting point to become 'at one' with Portugal.

Ride 2:06:30 [3] 45.0 km (2:49 / km) +1800m 2:21 / km
slept:7.0 shoes: Giant TCR One (road)

Morning ride in the Dandenongs with Dave, Ged, Ben, Trina and Noel. Did a loop up to One Tree Hill (where Dave busted a spoke so headed straight back) then the usual loop through Emerald and back up The Wall. Didn't feel great from the start, and got punished up the final climb up The Wall. I think I was a little flat.

Ride 2:53:00 [3] 53.0 km (3:16 / km) +1910m 2:46 / km
shoes: Merida 96 WEAPON

After finishing the road ride ate a power bar and two muesli bars before heading out on the MTB. Dropped down the back of Sassafrass onto School Track, down Ch 10 Tk to Camillia Tk, west to the base of The Scar and back and down Bills, across Hurdy Gurdy's Tk, then a couple of loops around Doongalla before calling it a day and heading home through Rowville. Came good after the road ride once I'd eaten a bit, and ate another couple fo times until I got home. Good ride, but didn't overly enjoy the morning road ride.

Run 1:10:01 [3] 13.5 km (5:11 / km)
shoes: Nike Zoom Elite

Afternoon run to Frankston and back by the creek. Headed off, after about a kilometre heavy rain came with a cold westerly straight off the bay making things quite cold. I sped up a little to keep warm. After the rain stopped I kept going. Seeing the time was good at the turnaround I tried to run back hard. Was spent by the time I finished, and happy to see it was a >2min PB for this regular run. My previous best was when Rob P pressured me the whole way, so I was very happy with it. Time to hit the hills I think.

Ride (Wind trainer) 1:10:00 [3]
slept:10.0 shoes: Giant TCR One (road)

A quick ride on the wind trainer this morning before a late start at work. Spent a fair amount of time at Level 2. Felt pretty easy.

Kayak (Kayak ergo) 30:00 [3]

Short afternoon session on the ergo. 30 minutes on this is not easy. I plan to do more of these, building up to an hour if that is possible. I don't think it stopped raining today.

Run 39:15 [3] 7.3 km (5:23 / km)
slept:7.5 shoes: Nike Zoom Elite

Late afternoon run to Seaford and back. Reasonable time for me over this run. I'm still a little snotty, but felt pretty good otherwise. Just beat darkness home.

Note

Been crook since Friday, however I'm on the way up now. I have a head cold far worse than Swine Flu but not quite as severe as Man Flu.
