Ride 55:20 [3] 23.5 km (2:21 / km)
slept:9.0 shoes: Crusty Merida

Rode bike tracks and Beach Road to Sandringham with Dave and Josh. Put the rollerblades in the backpack, and managed to get on the odd bunch as they came passed.

Inline skating 1:02:40 [3] 16.5 km (3:48 / km)
shoes: Rollerblade Lightning II

Once at Sandringham we had a slack transition to the skates, locked the bikes up, and headed out on the bike / walking / skating track. Did an out and back to Brighton Baths, then an out and back to Black Rock. Josh found the track a little trickier than his normal track, and had a run in with the pavement and a tree. Spewing he was behind me and I missed it!

Transition back onto the bikes and rode back the same way. Legs still good. The nutella sandwich was good once home.

Kayak 2:46:30 [3] 24.5 km (6:48 / km)
shoes: Epic V10L ocean ski

Midday paddle in the bay with Dave and Rob D. Headed out through the river mouth and north to Ricketts Point. I couldn't keep up with the others so headed towards shore to Mordialloc Pier, and then towards the point. Rounded the yellow beacon and paddled back with Dave - Rob had turned slightly earlier. The wind picked up a fair bit on the way back so battled a side chop the whole way back. Would have been okay except I'd pimped my ski up for next weekend and jacked my seat right up. Stability was a little challenging but good for core stability. Good day out, but the sunburn was not so good.

Ride 4:01:10 [3] 66.7 km (3:37 / km) +1670m 3:13 / km
slept:6.0 shoes: Merida 96 WEAPON

Up at 4am for work, back at 10am, sleep 10.30 to 12.30pm, then went out for a ride. Road to Churchill N.P., rode a few of the hills on that side then went over to the Lysterfield side and did some nice singletrack with a few hills. Managed to keep two gears spare up Max Heart Rate Hill. Magpies were aggressive on the Churchill side of the park. I ended up turning my lights on and pointing them up. They still swooped but never made contact. Then rode back over to the Churchill side and back home.

Loop around the footpaths of Patterson Lakes with Dave. He was wearing his pink shorts again ...

Ride 1:36:20 [3] 41.0 km (2:21 / km)
slept:7.0 shoes: Crusty Merida

I was tired al day - I'm blaming day light savings. Rode out to Bayswater after work to meet Dave. Ended up riding quite hard with the aid of a tail wind. Legs were fine, surprisingly.
