Run 35:45 [3] 6.1 km (5:52 / km)
shoes: Nike Structure 12

Internet's been faltering, I've already logged this once! Arvo run from home with Dave pretty much following the flood boundaries around. There's soooo much water, and it's dirty, brown water. The low side of Graceville are swimming, we should be fine. Chelmer high and low side are under. Riverfront property may be going cheap soon.....

Ride 1:53:00 [3] 33.5 km (3:22 / km)
shoes: Giant XTC Team

Did a loop to Gap Creek and back home via Mt Coot-tha. With all the water around I stayed on the main fire trails for most of the time, except over on the higher, rockier side. It was still very wet but not muddy. It rained heavily for the most part too. Dropped in at the canoe club on the way back right on low tide. Heaps of members were there completely emptying the shed. They'd pretty much finished by the time I got there so I was of no use. Had a couple of road water crossing which were far deeper than the top of my chain rings. Was climbing strongly.

Kayak 27:30 [3] 2.2 km (12:30 / km)
shoes: Epic K1 Legacy M

With the Brisbane River flooding we decided to remove our kayaks from the canoe club. On high tide the club flooded by about 1 inch. This morning (Tuesday) on low tide it was flooded by about a metre! We still wanted to paddle so first drove to West Lake but couldn't get in - it's surrounded by houses. We then went to Forest Lake which looked okay but was full of weed once we got in. We found a small stretch and did 10 x 20 double strokers from a stationary start, with a turn-around rest. We might try Springfield Lake next as the Brisbane River will be a no-go zone for a while yet.
