Straight out for a trek with Dave. Same route as Wednesday. Ran the uphills with Dave pushing the pace a bit so a little quicker today. Wore a new pair of XA Pros I've had for a year - fluoro yellow so I was looking sharp.

Morning ride with Dave and 3 others from his work. I joined in as they came past our place about 3/4 around the river loop. Did a lap of Mt Cootha (13.08) which is a knobby tyre PB (12.02 is my road bike PB), then rolled into Park Rd for coffee, then home.

Treadmill on 15% incline. Sweaty.

Straight put for a loop of Mt Cootha (13.53), then a reverse lap. A guy whizzed past me half way up the second time after just jumping back on his bike after changing a flat tyre. I saw him tiring nearing the top so I conservatively put in a little more and got him back by the top. I stayed in front for all the undulations across the top, and then never saw him on the descent - I think he probably launched off a cliff somewhere after being 'chicked' by a dually with knobblies....

Trek 2:29:00 [3]

Trek / run in Brisbane Forest Park. Did a big loop to Enoggra Dam, along one side of it and back out. The trail looked like it gets used by horses, and that's about it. This was much more of a walk than a run, but ran the inclines.
