Run 1:00:00 [3]

Treadmill. Same as yesterday only for longer. They need to get better fans in this place before summer.

Trek 2:17:00 [3]

Same Dam loop as last week with Dave, but ran some of the flats too. Legs were pretty tired on the last couple of steep hills.

Ride 1:12:00 [3] 32.5 km (2:13 / km)
shoes: Giant XTC Team

Pimped the Giant up with slicks and crossed my fingers - last time I rode this bike it bucked me off and threw me down square on my shoulder. Out the door with Dave at 5.20am (Dave owes me $10), for a river loop with a couple of others from his work. Pace was pretty hot and my legs weren't responding well on the ups. Opted to pull the pin as we came back past home and save the legs hopefully for a run this arvo. Disappointed that Bryce 'hid' this morning leaving me to struggle along with three guys who like to 'race' Saturday mornings! So much for a 'coffee ride'!

Run 45:00 [3]

Treadmill. Upped the speed and dropped the incline. I've been given the all clear to give running a go and see how it feels so I'll gradually keep dropping the incline over next week and hopefully be out on the trails proper by the weekend. We'll see.

Ride 3:38:30 [3] 69.8 km (3:08 / km)
shoes: Merida 96 WEAPON

Morning ride on the dually from home through Chapel Hill, main trail to the Gap Creek Picnic area, up Quail trail, then onto the road for some backstreets and up Mt Nebo Rd to the top at Mt Nebo. Back the same way to avoid traffic on the other side of the loop. Heaps of climbing and legs pretty cooked by the end.

Run 45:00 [4]

Treadmill @ 15% incline. Ramped it up a bit today - heart struggled for the first 30 minutes, legs struggled for the last 15.

Had my 6 week check up with my surgeon yesterday. All is progressing well, and I can step things up a bit while still being careful.
