Ride 2:22:00 [3] 42.7 km (3:20 / km)
shoes: Trek Superfly

Even better tracks today! 8am start again. Felt great all day. Finished comfortably 3rd female (27 finishes) and 34th overall (171 finishers). I only had one minor stack and no mechanicals. Not a bad result with so many thorns and tough rocky terrain. Each day I'd see several crashes in front of me, usually front wheel washouts. Awesome event, and such good trails!

Ride 3:08:40 [3] 54.3 km (3:28 / km)
shoes: Trek Superfly

Longest stage of the race. Very hot today so the start was moved to 8am. The tracks keep getting better and today began on the Larapinta Trail, but I was in a bit of survival mode. I think everyone else was similar as I think today was my best result overall, and I was only 8 minutes behind the leading two females. I made a nav error costing 6-7 minutes, but most riders seemed to today. It was the only glitch by Rapid Ascent all week.

Ride 1:07:50 [3] 22.0 km (3:05 / km)
shoes: Trek Superfly

Another TT. I felt terrible for the first half, then came good and felt fantastic! Very very hot and dry as it was every day.

Ride 1:08:50 [3] 22.0 km (3:08 / km)
shoes: Trek Superfly

Night race over the same course as the TT this morning. I felt much better but was a touch slower, no doubt due to darkness.

Ride race 2:03:30 [3] 38.0 km (3:15 / km)
shoes: Trek Superfly

First stage of 6 of The Redback Alice Springs. This whole event is pretty much entirely on technical single track and some of the best riding I've ever done. Stage one was really loose and rocky with heaps of little ups and downs. I came in third female behind two pretty good well known sponsored riders so it was going to be about coming in 'best of the rest' over the next five stages.

Ride 1:15 [3] 0.3 km (4:10 / km)
shoes: Trek Superfly

Sprint TT up Anzac Hill. Not my forté. Got to sit in the QOM chair until the two elites ride up. One beat me by 2 secs, the other by 15!
