Bumbled round at the start, and found #1 very difficult. Not sure if it was the red crosses which seemed somewhat aribtary on tracks or the lack of contour tag lines (my army area hobby horse), but I mucked it up a bit and it wasn't until #4 that I nailed one. Smoother after this, but forest rougher than I expected and straight on #7 was the wrong call. Thought #8 was higher up than marked. flowing nicely now. Enjoed a few controls with Tim Be.
Went left on #17 which not sure if best route, didn't know whether it was going to be up or down. #19 wasn't on the feature it was mapped, so mild panic when on mapped feature, but it was on a pimple a bit beyond. Thought the Dual carraigway option looked the best to #21, but opted for the right, which was also quite quick. Started to make some really stuipd bad mistakes now, #22, #24 (finding control but thinking it was the wrong number) #25 failing to find crossing point, #28 never found ride - a bit comical.
Enjoyed it, just a bit rusty, and a bit mentally tired at end.
Looking forward to the next edition of SINS
