Running 29:09 [3]
ahr:151 max:177
Was feeling pretty dodge after work, and not that keen for a run. But I went anyway. And I'm glad I did, it was really pleasent.

Decided to try and go solidly for a shorter amount of time, but when I was going I felt more like doing some work on my technique, so I did. I used the electricity poles as a guide for when to start and stop my harder technique intervals.

Glad I went. :-)

Thursday Jul 24

Running 27:34 [5]
Forgot my heart rate monitor today, so I don't have all the handy information I usually do.

Cockies training starting at recconciliation place, organised by Jase. Did an exercise called 'Oranges and Lemons'. You had to follow the course to each big circle (orange) which had 3 little circles in it (lemons). The course was handicapped by Andy having to get all three lemons, Jase, Shannon and Mace having to get 2 lemons, and Julia and I only having to get 1 lemon.

Didn't feel 100% still, but tried to push it hard still.

Got some lemons at the end from Jase's tree, and went home to tell Rob he needs another coupon.

Funny story for the day:
Woke up this morning, and was feeling quite tired. I just decided to suck it up and get going. Started getting my clothes together, and thought I heard Dad wandering around outside my door. Looked at my clock and it said 2:05. 'Oh, my clock needs some new batteries!' I thought, and just kept going. Wanted to check the actual time so I looked at my watch. Needless to say I was surprised to find my watch saying 2:05 too. And so did my phone. Oh dear! I was awake 4 hours early. So it was back to bed for me, and fortunately I didn't wander out of my room in my running gear to find Dad going to bed after Le Tour!

Running warm up/down 18:00 [2]
Warm up and down around the Cockies training. Thought I'd missed the group because it took me ages to defrost the car (only really working when Mum came and gave me a hand with some warm water). But I was about to start running off when Jase called over to me from the car. Andy and Shannon had gone for their own warmups first, so I hadn't missed anything.

Wednesday Jul 23

Running 40:38 [4]
ahr:173 max:190
Deffinitely not one of my best days. My legs felt heavy, and I felt like crap the whole time. Thought I was over my cold, and maybe I am. Guess it might have just been one of those days. I'll keep an eye on my progress over the next few days.

Big zone 4 day today, but with 10 minutes in zone 5 (aka: 'The death zone'). Those kids sure set some cracking paces! The CIT sprint was fantastic fun. I haven't done any Orienteering there in a while, so it was a nice change.

Tuesday Jul 22

Note
(rest day)
Slack. Should have done something, and didn't. Need to plan my time better now I'm back at school.

Monday Jul 21

Parkour 2:00:00 [2]
Gym session. My front flips are certainly improving! I'm starting to get some more height before I tuck. And my juggling is getting heaps good! The whole thing is great fun though, some very talented people.

Sunday Jul 20

Running 1:09:50 [4]
ahr:163 max:200
Long run with the Cockies: Shannon, Jaaaase, Andy, Rebecca and Ella who kept us up to date with any 'puppy' sightings. Dad came along, but went for a bike ride on his own.

Instead of heading up the mountain we went round the mountain as Andy was pushing the pram. I kept up for as long as I could, and then eventually had to stop and walk after 54 minutes going up the hill then the others got ahead a little. I was determined not to drop behind though so pushed on and got the the saddle only about 30 seconds after.

Went to Sfoglia after, and had some fantastic bacon and eggs and a straberry milkshake. Had a discussion about why Batman is awesome, and about why Andy's phone won't recieve pictures when it sends them... odd.

Good start to the day! :D
Parkour 1:00:00 [3]
Well we started off the class today with grand plans to go to new areas. But these fell through when it started raining 15 minutes into the class. So we had to improvise and headed up to Toast where we did some rain training, and some games and other drills in the sheltered area.
Did some static hold strengthening exercises at the end which huuuuuurt, especially the one sitting against the wall for 60 sec, 45 sec then 40 sec. Quadrapedal tag was quite tough, but great fun with all of us scampering around like crazy monkeys.

Was pretty tired from running this morning, but it was still fun!
