Hot Yoga (Standard) 1:30:00 [3]

Good class today. Didn't destroy my body like the last class.

Ultimate 45:00 [3]

We lost 15-7. Two lines of players so playing time was limited.

Running 48:00 [3]
ahr:157 max:187

First run in Nose Hill Park with Zoolander and Meridian. I dropped the boys approx. 30 mins into my run (way too slow for me) and ran the last 18 mins alone back to the car. Quick stretching session back at car while I waited for the boys.

Rode the Highwood Pass (road closed to vehicle traffic until June 15th) with Zoolander until we hit snow at the Elbow Pass mark (45 min), rode back to the winter gate and continued to ride past the car into Peter Lougheed Park. It took us down a big hill, rode around for a bit, stopped for a Clif bar and then rode back up. Good way to finish off the ride.

Running 35:00 [3]

Felt terrible for the first 10 mins of run (I think I drank too much water before I left). Attempted the hill in Edworthy Park again - made it half way up and then had to walk the rest. My concentration was gone after I almost stepped on a snake.

Running 30:00 [3]

Run with Sarah H. in Bowmount Park. Mix of paved pathway and single track. Right knee was starting to bother me by the end of the run.

Running 41:00 [3]

1st attempt running the huge hill in Edworthy Park - made it 1/3 of the way before I mentally and physically gave up.

Note

Flag Football game (first and final game of the season) - no cardio exercise at all since we had 5 subs.

First real 'road' ride of the year and it hurt! Started my ride with a nice big hill in Edworthy Park and then rode out of the city on Springbank Rd. Springbank Rd has lots of rolling hills with one big climb on the way back into the city limits. I had to use my granny gear to get up and only thought about getting off my bike once! I didn't eat anything on my ride so I need to start doing that next time b/c I was tired. Drank 1.5 H2O bottles. Fingers on my left hand were numb.

Home to Zoolander's work and back on the Bow Pathway.

Running 1:10:00 [3]

"a nice easy run, 45 min tops" - never believe Zoolander if he says that! We went 25 min past that time limit and we ran up two major hill climbs -the first was in Edworthy Park just on the other side of the river and the second one was on the Douglas Fir Trail on the south side of the river. The Douglas Fir Trail is pretty sweet, a mix btwn stairs and dirt path that takes you up and then back down to the river.
