Adv2 UsynligO course at Sandy Run 6. About 2:10 on the actual course (5.8km) the rest was the walk to the start and back from the finish. Had a blast!! The woods are thickish in places but very little in the way of prickers and lots of beautiful open hemlock groves. Definitely worth the $25 or so it costs me between tolls and gas to go up there.

One error at #7 but it was my usual error of not having gone far enough and after doing a small loop to verify I was where I thought I was, I then kept going and the control was obvious. I generally have a pace count going but I find that with the longer times I'm spending after an hour or so I start getting careless and not keeping track as well as I could.

The course had a couple longish legs and my routes - somewhat on purpose - took me through sections of the woods that look bland on paper that I haven't visited before. Saw several giant boulders that could be mapped and make good controls but I wonder if it's worth the effort. I want to, but I wonder then who I'd be doing it for. I'm not sure how much difference it would make to me and not many others are using the map so not sure what I'll do.
