Wednesday May 16

running 1:07:58 [3]
TNT Wednesday edition with Clem and Dasha. Despite thunderstorms earlier in the evening it was perfect running weather by the time we got out. I had mowed the lawn earlier in the day before the storms and it was hot and humid but the storms cooled things off nicely. Did four miles on the drive at a bit over 10 minute pace which surprised me since it felt like I was pushing harder than that. :(

I & I routine still working. Very nice evening all in all.

Tuesday May 15

Note
A little concerned that my knees would really hurt this morning after two days in a row of running but they're about the same as always. Which while not great is still good news.

Monday May 14

trail 1:11:58 [3]
TNT (temporarily moved to MW) - with Dasha and Clem on the trails at Tyler. Pretty slow but managed to run the old loop with three big hills only walking a very short section on the third hill after it flattened out a bit. Saw a fox.

Sunday May 13

Event: DVOA Tyler State Park

orienteering race 41:06 [3] 4.3 km (9:33 / km)
Tyler Brown course. Pretty much a long sprint with a couple of forked legs making for interesting route choice decisions. About the best you can do at Tyler given the terrain and despite it just being a long trail run it was fun. (It helps when you win! :) ) Green looked like a more interesting course, but it was 6.75 and I didn't think I should stay away from the epunch that long.
