Friday Jul 3

trail 33:44 [3]

short hill loop - had to walk once for a about 20 meters in the middle and walked from the corner. Not training enough...

Tuesday Jun 30

hiking 51:51 [3]

TNT - hiked with Sandy. Great dinner at the Ahlswedes and good conversation with Eric.

Monday Jun 29

map hiking 5:00:00 [1]

Streamering for the July 26 Hickory Run event with Bob Fink. Brown and green are fine; white and yellow are probably okay but we'll have to streamer a few legs. Not sure what to do about orange, red and blue. Some things that looked fine on paper and that I thought would work based on my memory of some areas did not seem like such good ideas when actually in the woods. Will have to think about it some and make at least one more trip up there. Got there at 9am and left at 6pm - a long day. And very, very buggy. But the new beach area has great facilities including changing rooms and showers!

Note

Found a deer tick on the back of my neck last night. Not sure when I got it so not sure how panicked to be.

Sunday Jun 28

trail 34:19 [3]

Short hill loop; almost walked at one point but toughed it out. Had to stop to let mountain bikers by four different times so time is comparable to Thursday I think. It was a gorgeous morning so not surprised a lot of people were out and about - at least these bikers were all on the trails designated for bikers and not on the ones were they're prohibited which has been the case the last few times I've been out.
