Hike around the meadow loop with Sandy (plus a bit of shoveling at the end). In many places you could just walk on top of the snowjust next to the trail, but every so often you would break through and then in a few places it was already soft enough that it made more sense to walk in other people's footsteps. Good to get out after not doing anything yesterday except for a bit of yoga and stretching. Feeling rested. :)

And two more rounds of shoveling. My neighbor continues to be great and my sidewalk was clear already when I got up.

Shoulder is a bit sore; I think I overdid it a bit but I was just tired of it and wanted to be done.

Snow shoveling. I'm counting this in place of the RTP workout I had planned for today. I did at least 100 squats as I had to lift with my legs.

I decided I would shovel now while I could still lift the rain-soaked snow. The risk is that with more rain and sleet predicted, my walkways will likely turn into a sheet of ice. But it would have just been too heavy later I think.

My neighbor was out with his snowblower and kindly offered to do the sidewalk for me, so I only had to do the walkways from the house.

Round two with the shoveling. Arms and back sore. Car isn't completely cleared out but I think I could get out in an emergency.

If only it would stay warm and not freeze over...

Nice hike in the Wissahickon with Sandy. As Karl observed, the light snow on Monday improved the trails considerably.

Haven't been logging it, but have been doing quite a bit of stretching.

Really wrenched my knee the other day and it was pretty bad for a couple days but seems to have improved today. Put my brace on to go shovel this morning and just wore it all day. That probably helped, too.
