Started putting out streamers for the rogaine. Decided that I should probably get started on this so there is time for someone or someones to vet and since I'm still nursing an injury I don't want to have to spend 8 hours at a time in the woods to get it done. Used today as a test to see if I could handle the terrain. I figure it will take me about 20 hours total to streamer all the controls and 5 or 6 easier days makes more sense now. Hopefully I'll be sufficiently healed so I can get the controls out in fewer days when it's time for the actual event.
Hip/leg sore but not any worse than it's been and better than it was a few weeks ago. Practiced tightening the abs a lot! The true test will be to see if it's worse tomorrow.
Woods are gorgeous although they'll be a bit thicker by June 5. Some great views - all my controls today were hilltops!
Great new purchase: bifocal safety glasses that are tinted but not very dark so wearing them today which was quite cloudy (several brief flurries even) was not an issue. They worked really well for protecting my eyes and keeping the wind out and letting me read the map at the same time. Will have to try them during an actual race and in the rain and things like that, but sure did love them today!
Shoulder and hip PT, plus all my various other exercises and stretches that I am trying to do daily. I usually do them in bits and pieces throughout the day, but I decided to try to do them all at once this morning.

A very slow meander around the meadow loop. Hip less happy than I thought it would be given that it wasn't really bothering me this morning much.
