strength & stretching 40:00 [3]

Ooof. Tough session today. She upped the weights on everything that I'd been doing with weights and added weights to a few things I was doing without weights. And nothing was plain vanilla today. With the squats I was lifting one knee and then the other after every one. With the planks (straight arms on a step) instead of just moving a leg to the side and back she had me moving it up-and-over as if I was going over an obstacle. During a different set of squats with my legs wide and pointing out, after every 10 I stayed down and did calf raises on each foot. While doing a v-sit I passed a 2lb weight from hand to hand around in a circle under and over my legs. Felt really good when I was done!!

Meadow loop with three trips down and up A-hill. It started to rain a few minutes after I started and I told myself to just HTFU and keep going. After all, I'm signed up for two adventure type races and those won't be stopped for rain. Resigned I kept going and then a few minutes later I was rewarded with it stopping. That was nice.

Really tired the last couple days after feeling pretty good over the weekend and Monday. All my students are getting sick and I'm fighting off a cold. Hopefully that's all this is.

strength & stretching 40:00 [3]

Same deal as usual: 5 min warmup, 30 min workout, 5 min stretch.

Was worried I'd be sore after yesterday, but felt pretty good.
