I was bopping along doing reasonably well, taking an aggressive route to 8 and feeling good that it worked perfectly then headed off to 10 which was a long route choice leg. Suddenly realized I hadn't gone to 9 so had to turn around and go back. Glanced at my watch wondering how much time I had lost and realized I never started my watch. So this is the rest of the time on the course.

Spiked most controls and am happy with my route choices. There is a large trail network and the legs that were set and the swathes of out-of-bounds made for some interesting choices. I tried to jog on the trails but my knee was getting pretty sore by the end. It's been bothering me a bit the last few days (ever since the marathon car drive actually which I think is the culprit) although it feels fine this evening.

Class at the gym. Almost didn't go - stayed up late last night and so woke up late this morning and so barely had time to get there and thought about bagging it but didn't. Good class - not sure if I was working harder or if the AC wasn't cranked up but I was really sweating today.

Session with trainer plus warm up by walking to gym (not logged) and some time on the treadmill (logged - fast walking 10% incline) plus the abductor and adductor machines after the session just because I felt like it and then the walk home (not logged).

Nothing especially exciting in the session; it was a new trainer and we were both feeling each other out.
