A slow walk over to Mt. Airy. Mix of surfaces: pavement, packed snow and unpacked snow. There were a lot of cars on the roads, but not many people on the trails.

Hike in the Wiss in the snow. Really nice out, but it was tough going. Forgot to stop my watch right when I got home but I also did some snow shoveling earlier so I'll call it even. The snow shoveling was pretty hard work - there's a layer of ice on top of very wet snow - and as careful as I've tried to be to bend my knees and not lift too much, my back and shoulder were complaining a bit by the end.

Session with Kelly. She usually tries to work a little cardio in - today it was going up and over the step sideways, which I've done before, but today it was holding weights which was new. Got my heart rate up and had me panting so definitely worked.

I had planned to take today off, especially since the forecast was for rain and or sleet, but by noon it was sunny and a balmy 47F. So I decided to go for a walk. It clouded up by the time I finished and the temps were dropping, but still it was such a nice change not to be all bundled up like recent outings.
