Row 1:36:00 [3]

First I met up with the Social Row. I was actually hoping to get out in an 8+. However, they only had 8 weaklings for 2 quads. I was on a Chairman of the Board be social mission so i did a loop with one of the quads and told them a few "History of WRL' stories. After that I did a little experimenting with seat height by rowing with a pad and without. Conclusion -- I like the pad = height. So now I have another little boat tuning project.

In the afternoon I rigged up some rigger bolt covers with tennis balls and bungy. Then I made an aluminum bracket of sorts so that I could mount a bottle cage into my boat. Very fancy! Assuming it works out, I'm going to be the envy of all the rowers with my fancy bottle holder.

Run 23:00 [3]

Time to start training for the Possum Trot. I imagine myself doing intervals and hills so I think I can check those off as done. Time to taper.

A couple of weeks ago I turned my ankle carrying my boat to the dock in the dark. My ankle was ok but I rolled onto the top of my foot. It swelled and was a little bruised; I rarely ever bruise due to my excellent clotting abilities. My foot still feels a little achy. Who knows what I did to it. The main thing is to legitimize the PTrot excuses well in advanced. Mentioning them to day before or just after is unseemly.
