Run 38:00 [3]

It's warm, it's very windy, and I'm sick.

What he said up there.

Erg 1:00:00 [3]

B: 8/5+4/5+2/5+1
SR: 28/30/32/34

To windy for the water and I am sick with a cold. Started Friday. Annoying.

Run 1:05:00 [3]

15 min WU then the rest for extra run time. Foot still swollen and a achy but I could run. Kept my pace easy today. Nice day: 68F, low humidity, a breeze, plenty of colorful wildflowers to step on.

Orienteering 40:00 [3]

Erwin Park. Carl set a nice course for this terrain so it was fun to run around. The nice weather helped. Wish I was at WCOC but I had a final exam this evening.

Row 1:20:00 [3]

First Rojabo workout of the new season.
D: 4[(4+3+2+1)/5]
SR: 20/22/24/26

Got the boat moving but didn't feel great doing it. Felt like I was dragging an anchor. I think I need more food and sleep.

Note

Foot is still swollen. I could run but it would be a little annoying so I'm going to just wait a couple more days.

Rojabo index 745

Nice morning (65F). With about 2 min remaining in the 32spm piece I started 10 stroke count downs to keep myself focused and on track. Both butts were screaming at the end. Maybe with some help, like someone there to route me on, I could have punched it for a little longer. Good starting point though.

Row 45:00 [3]

Clem and Dasha swung through Dallas on the road trip across the south. This morning, Clem and I got out in the Maas 2x and had a very fine row. After about 15 min of getting in sync and getting Clem used to having two oars, we were moving along nicely. On the way back we put in some solid P10s, P20s and one good P30. It helped that White Rock Lake was on its best behavior and we had a perfect morning. Very enjoyable and fun.

Row 53:00 [3]

Evening group row. Boat felt heavy -- like I was dragging a log -- only I wasn't.
