Hard work but I had a confident frame of mind from the beginning. Finished still with some fight. I want to be faster though; maybe that is impossible and I'm at "maintain what you got" age. Don't care; I'll keep banging my head against the wall anyway.
PT1 [3]
At TOA. I've been released. Up to me to keep at it on my own, perhaps for the rest of my life. But unless I have a relapse or reinjury, time for birdy to leave the PT nest.
Brought out all the rskis for some comparison skiing.
Speed: Pursuit < XLA98 << Aero
Damping: XLA98 < Pursuit < Aero
Control: XLA98 < (Pursuit = Aero)
The speed and damping is what I expected*. The control issue was a surprise.
* Confirmation bias.
Exercising when it is 95F really isn't all that fun.
Nice morning. A south wind -- enough to slow the 2nd and 4th pieces but not enough to annoy rowing. Mentally whiny on the 3rd but I was better on the 4th. My Garmin recorded pace is slower than I was seeing in the boat; I don't get it. SR was 24-26. Wish I was faster but I did what I could do.
2+ laps with Luis. A little bumpy on the north end but very doable. Kept the HR down except for when it wasn't. Nice row except for when fisherman or other dumb rowers were annoying me.
XC Sking30:00 [3] shoes: Pursuit
Easy along the SF Trail because I didn't feel like going to the lake. Worked out reasonably well. However, I can't get any push with the poles on concrete so it has it's limitations.
