XC Sking 1:01:00 [3]
shoes: Pursuit

Late start due to a stupid day so i was skiing in the dark. Not quite ninja skiing though because I have my little light temporarily perma-attached to my helmet. Tuned out to be a good ski.

Row 46:00 [3]

A bit of a north wind so I rowed north then south. Fancy water bottle holder works well.

XC Sking 1:00:00 [3]
shoes: V2 Aero XL

Started from Norbuk and then did 3 x Coyote-Hawk hills. I didn't work them, I just did them. I was feeling a little off during the day but felt decent skiing. I think this is my first time on the Aeros this season. They are definitely faster. I need to see about getting them tuned to be dead on straight.

Row 1:36:00 [3]

First I met up with the Social Row. I was actually hoping to get out in an 8+. However, they only had 8 weaklings for 2 quads. I was on a Chairman of the Board be social mission so i did a loop with one of the quads and told them a few "History of WRL' stories. After that I did a little experimenting with seat height by rowing with a pad and without. Conclusion -- I like the pad = height. So now I have another little boat tuning project.

In the afternoon I rigged up some rigger bolt covers with tennis balls and bungy. Then I made an aluminum bracket of sorts so that I could mount a bottle cage into my boat. Very fancy! Assuming it works out, I'm going to be the envy of all the rowers with my fancy bottle holder.

Run 23:00 [3]

Time to start training for the Possum Trot. I imagine myself doing intervals and hills so I think I can check those off as done. Time to taper.

A couple of weeks ago I turned my ankle carrying my boat to the dock in the dark. My ankle was ok but I rolled onto the top of my foot. It swelled and was a little bruised; I rarely ever bruise due to my excellent clotting abilities. My foot still feels a little achy. Who knows what I did to it. The main thing is to legitimize the PTrot excuses well in advanced. Mentioning them to day before or just after is unseemly.

I was going to due some Neighborhood Birkie Loops but my Aeros had a flat... annoying. So i put on clipped into the Pursuits, went down to the SF Trail and did a lap of the lake + a few hills. i think I started off a little dehydrated. That with the slower wheels on the Pursuits made for a tiring grind. I was wiped out all day too.
