All and all, have to be happy with this. Still out of sorts and had no expectations. Worked but didn't press. Decent technique.

XC Sking 1:18:00 [3]

Slow and easy because that's all I had in me. Emotionally drained.

Yesterday I reached the limit at which I was willing to continue to participate in the drama at White Rock Rowing. Extricating myself was accomplished by resigning. That's not how I wanted to go out and not the situation I wanted to leave some friends in. I don't regret the decision but I certainly do have many regrets. Hopefully others can keep things afloat and even make the organization better than it has been. Sometimes change is good and change sometimes means stepping aside for others in spite of the hits to the ego.

Orienteering 1:20:00 [3]

Clements - Murchison. Better orienteering today even though 80% of my brain was thinking about other things. The map isn't as weird over here but there has been a lot of forest clearing that has left it a mess. The result is scratched up shins and slow running at times. There were enough nice parts and trails to make up for it though. Another amazing day: 35F when I started at 0830, and 72F when we left the camp at 1400.

Bike 41:00 [3]

All trails and dirt roads today at Murchison. I don't like riding in sand. i definitely don't like falling in the sand and knocking the wind out of myself. Otherwise, pretty fun.

Orienteering 1:36:00 [3]

NTOA event at Clements. Rand the somewhat less than 8k course taking an inordinate amount of time -- due to being low on sleep, low on concentration and low mapping of the vegetation accuracy. The latter due partly due to natural growth and partly due to a whole lot of logging. While it was a very nice day and I enjoyed being out, I can't say i enjoyed my orienteering. Such is the way of things sometimes.

Bike 58:00 [3]

Brought my mt bike and hit the roads outside of camp. Nice day and no dogs chased me.
