Nice morning. Good rowing. Spent the majority doing X [ 4min at 18 / 1 at 22], except when I was't paying attention and missed the time changes. Decent pressure throughout.

w/ Karl and Norbuk. Clouds came in and so running was ok. My legs were surprisingly agreeable.

Robert was there with daughter Adouette who is training for the US HS track champs. Chatted about PED use back in the 80s and 90s. Robert was Francie Larrieu-Smith's coach... and Karl's and my coach too!

I had jury duty today but didn't pass muster at voir dire and was released. However, that wasn't until 2:30pm and I didn't get lunch. I finally got some food at 3. I ran with an overly full belly which was still full when I got home. Since I wasn't hungry and Lisa was in Chicago I figured I should just go for a short ride because it was a nice evening. Took the short route around the lake.

3 x 15 strokes starts

South wind laps. About 1800m from the spillway to Winfrey Pt with a mix of calm, sometimes tail, sometimes head, stop the watch at Winfrey Pt, quick spin, start the watch, head back but into a consistent wind due to being farther off shore. The wind built during the workout so that last one I worked the 2k hard and just bagged heading back.

Don't know if these are historically good splits but I worked hard, I was tired, and my butt hurt.

Morning final exam = double blah! Graded in the afternoon and used the late afternoon ride as a break. Hit the old neighborhood hills at an easy effort so that I could identify some strava segments for future use. Still very windy.
