Bike 1:15:00 [3]

I set out to do a flat easy ride and ended up in the hills of our hold neighborhood. No one knows why this happened.

Very similar to 12/3 but today faster on the last. I'd have been even a little faster if not for some small obstacles. On the one hand, I'd prefer to have improved. On the other hand, I still feel a little heavy from CO though that is improving. On the third hand, I worked in some decent V2 and that's not easy for me to do at speed.

Lift 25:00 [3]

I did some box jumps to work on explosiveness and bball dunking skills.

Easy ski cause I'm feeling slightly off, which normally would just be one of those days but Lisa has had a cold and I don't want one too. Had a conversation with a guy who was really interested in roller skiing so I filled him in. As always I conclude with, "It's fun and I enjoy it, but I don't recommend it." (Because it is dangerous.) Then I had a short chat with a women on roller blades who wanted to know how I managed the bridges. Then I almost accidentally stabbed a biker with a pole because some bikers are a$$hole and ride on a trail filled with walkers, runners, strollers, kids, dogs, etc. (including roller skiers) as if they are on the road, owning the trail, traveling at high speed, weaving in and out, poopheads. Then I chatted with Tony who was out for a run and is way behind on growing his Birkie beard and I made sure to let him know this fact.

Chatted with no one.

At Ft Worth Nordic Center (Pat's house). Started with me, Pat and Kurt the fireman who was running. We dropped Kurt after a bit. John joined us for laps 2 and 3. Easy effort but 3 hours is 3 hours and I'm tired. However, not extraordinarily so. I'm just lacking any zip and spring and I'm not surprised about that at all -- still not fully recovered from CO.

It was good to ski with friends. Chatting the whole way and that makes the time go by a lot faster.
