Row 1:20:00 [3]
Steerhead Regatta in Ft. Worth
1x. Behind Pat by 8s and a youngster from TX A&M squeaked ahead of me by 0.8s, so I was third on time. After age handicapping I was still third because Pat Hamner squeaked ahead of Pat and I. A bit of a headwind thoughout. I was hoping to average 26spm but I was able to hold 26-27spm. Last 500 I took it up to 28-29ish. I finished satisfied with a decent effort but not confident it how fast I was actually going. I was please to find out I was only a bit behind Pat.
Time was 13:34.3 for 3k.
2x. Decent. No competition so we squished everyone else.

As it happened NTOA was having a score-O right next door at Gateway Park. I drove over, grabbed a map and ran around for a while. I just stayed on the main trail though. I was tired and hot .
Went to Chipotle for lunch, took my boat back and rerigged, showered, and found the couch for 3 hours. Watched track and cycling.
