On the on hand, these were about 10s slow but doing 5 is good for Dec.

Great morning for rowing. Legs a little tired but I felt decent and wasn't in any hurry to go to work.

I wanted to test out my knee running and I'd say it generally wasn't happy. I could shuffle along but I wouldn't have enjoyed a 30 min run. Annoying.

Fartlek: 5 farts of 1-2k in length
2 sprints up Fisher hill.

Heading out into the chilly darkness is not always easy. Once I warmed up it was ok though. I didn't feel springy but I think I did good work and my V2 was solid. My sprints up Fisher also had good technique w/o any stumbles. Pooped at the end.

Overdressed to make sure I didn't get cold. Easy around the lake. Slept a little restlessly. The the heal of my right hand is bruised where I fell on it yesterday; the bruise is conveniently located exactly where I rest my hands on the handlebars.

It was wet this morning so I waited until after lunch. I much prefer getting out first thing and getting a workout such as this done. Once I got going though it wasn't too bad and I got to ski into the sunset.

Lisa rode her bike with me for the first 30min, which was nice.

I did 3 Lanshire hills, then over to Bath House hill, then back to FPH for another 2 bigger climbs. That got me a good tally of upward meters.

The last 45min was into a stiff headwind, which I didn't really need at that point. I wasn't rolling too fast.

The best thing to do post workout would have been to eat dinner and relax. However, SMU men's soccer team was playing in the 3rd round of the NCAA tournament, which they won only 18s into the first OT; onto the final 8 for them. I was a little chilly though so we went for late night hot chocolate and oatmeal at Cafe Brazil.
