Row 1:00:00 [3]

Beautiful morning to row a boat. Try to focus on my breath. Sometimes I was successful. Other times the monkeys in my brain were having a jamboree.

Row 1:14:00 [3]

Race WU
4 (1000m at 26-28 / 500m + 250m at 28-30 / 250m)

Got Luis, Josh, Gabe and Scott (sort of) to come out for a workout. It's much easier to work hard with friends out. Used the buoy line and it was a bit bumpy at the north end. Definitely faster heading north, and slower heading south into the wind.

I didn't feel particularly fast but I didn't feel all that stressed by the effort. I'd recover and be ready to go fairly quickly.

I stole a mini-kitkat from the the Juniors' bag of candy as a reward.

Nice steady ski on a nice evening followed by a nice pizza from Flatbread and watching a nice Veulta.

Row 1:00:00 [3]

Calm, clear, and 42F. Beauty. Did some fast 10s at quarter slide and at the catch. My rowing was beauty too.

XC Sking 40:00 [3]
shoes: Pursuit Elite

Ski, drills in the boat ramp lot, TP rolls, double poling.

Note

Still messing with the seat position and angle, and stack height on the Bianchi. I'm Mr Princess and the pea.

Bike 3:32:13 [3] 74.04 km (20.9 kph) +446m
ahr:109 max:167

We were planning a little 4k rowing scrimmage but canceled due to adverse wind conditions. Turned out we probably could have done it. Oh well.

Met Gabe from the boathouse for a ride, Gabe was very late. Gabe also had a commuter type bike. A very nice bike but a commuter set up nevertheless. That meant a very slow and conversational ride for me. That was ok though. It's good to chill sometimes. Bumped into Mark Agee and he joined us for a while. I had a little bit of riding left to get home after dropping off Gabe and let loose my zoomies.

My thru-axle thingies did not cause me any problems.
