At Webster Park, site of many HS XC meets, some of which I won. Alas, the electronic map I saved of the course is gone. I could remember most of it but I'm short by about 700m and I can't quite work out what loop I'm missing. That makes me sad. Nostalgia is a tough emotion. I try to remember that one can loose only what one was fortunate enough to have.

My dad's on a slow decline. Day to day changes are difficult to discern. It's challenging to watch. We head back to Dallas early tomorrow morning and it is difficult to the leave. I am sure I'll be back soon but it is impossible to plan at this point.

Met up with Ft. Worth John who is now Rochester John. He has plenty of bikes. We rode down the Auburn Trail to the Erie Canal Trail, then out to Fairport and back. On the way back we stopped at Aladdin's in Pittsford for lunch. Easy, helmetless, cruising with a lot of chatting. Great ride!

Run 30:00 [3]

Ran the other way on the Hojack Trail. For some reason there were many more mosquitos.

Uncle Jerry and Mary Lou came over form Buffalo. They, my mom and I hung out with my dad for a chunk of time. It's clear he can hear us but it is tough to know how much he is taking in. He can't really communicate clearly.

Out and back on the Hojack Trail (old rail line). Mixed in some squatty-things and some light plyo.

My dad's in hospice care at St. Anne's. Lisa is with me on this trip and that is very helpful for me.
