Orienteering 31:00 [4] 3.0 km (10:20 / km)

Not too sure about distance or time.

Training hosted by the Wimberleys at Pelindaba. Ran the first window-O at race pace. Very rocky underfoot!

Map reading getting better, but was very hesitant as soon as I didn't find what I predicted; slow changing from map-to-world to world-to-map or whatever its called.

Orienteering 35:00 [4] 3.0 km (11:40 / km)

Second training map - contours only.

Was slow up the hill (geez the rocks eat your legs alive!) but ran fairish from there on. Will have to work on reading ahead discipline - read much less ahead with the lack off features on the map and wasn't prepared on two controls' in-circle nav.

Note

My running-over-rocks muscles above the outer ankle bones are very stiff. Rest feeling surprisingly good.
