Orienteering race 32:48 [5] **** 5.29 km (6:12 / km) +235m 5:04 / km
shoes: Walsh pb trainer
SHI relay. Running 1st leg. Legs felt rubbish to start of with. Was going to go over the top on no. 3 but then the pack went round and decided there wasn't any point leaving them on 1st leg. Struggling round the side of the hill, legs stiff. When a few people missed got in the lead with Embrey. Picked it up with Murray on a longish leg back then went pretty clean down the hill and got away a little and got a 30s lead in the end which was nice. Happy with the run. Coombs sent Ewan out in a good position and he really did the business. 2 scots teams first equal, crackin. We'll be coming, we'll be coming...

Orienteering race 1:18:49 [5] **** 12.9 km (6:07 / km) +355m 5:22 / km
shoes: Walsh pb trainer
SHI individual. OK run. Legs felt quite heavy and stiff for a lot of the way. Maybe just the terrain. Need to get out in the rought more often. Technically, well controlled but drifeted on no. 2 and another couple and two really stupid misses on no.s 8 & 9. Pissed of about those and got confused on no. 18 right at the end. Overall quite happy. Time fairly competitive considering I didnt feel like I was running that well. Long way down on Scotia though!

Farlek out from Dovecote Height stell to top of Boawnhill, round the back and back down Binks side. Did about seven efforts or something. Felt a bit rubbish before hand, and didn't feel like I was shifting very fast, but good to be out. A bit tiered after hammering in 50 odd fence posts in the morning, hard work!
