Recce run of the street race with Ackers. It is awesome. Realy enjoyed it. So many small closes I've never been in. Quality. If you're free on the 26th January, get yourself to Edinburgh!

4 laps of same meadows lap as new years day. Wasn't feeling great so had to slog it out. Resisted the temptation to stop and did a good session. Laps in 8.12, 7.58, 8.06 and 8.14.

Run from the flat up rouns braids and back. Had fun playing with hrm. Kept hr below 160, was quite hard going up braids. Felt ok, but was deliberately limiting it. hr back to normal after tuesday I think.

Running 15:00 [1] 2.0 mi (7:30 / mi)
max:166 shoes: Brooks adrenaline GTS7

Feeling a bit better so went up to intervals to go for a jog. Was a bit late so made it as they were starting second mile. Pissing it down! Ran two mile reps v easy behind Kirsten. Felt ok, but heart rate too high I reckon. Up to 166 did push a little harder at times but not that hard.
