Cruisy run with Doug. Felt pretty good post pub golf which was nice. Another crackin day. Ran up Blackford, then down round pond, through field, to far end of hermitage woods and back along then down new road i discovered last week. Good to be out. Proper training starts again tommorow.

Seem to be cursed for Carnethy, tonsilitis not better in time so just went to watch instead. First run back really, meant to go very steady bu only managed to make the very last bus to the race so only set off 5mins before the start. Ran up the saddle and up to top of scald law. Had to run fairly hard and felt fairly rubbish but made it with a couple of minutes to spare before the leaders. Good runing from Cheps and Doug. Beautiful day. Followed by a nice round of golf.

Still not better but got fed up slothing around inside. Such a beautiful day outside, warm and sunny. unreal. just ran slowly the whole way. jogged it easy as possible up blackford but hr still went up to 169. definately not better yet. not sure if running was a good idea but it was nice and i enjoyed it. ran back via hermitage and woods and path that comes out at big crossroads. nver been that way before so that was pretty exciting.

tonsils still sore this morning, but not as bad. Getting better. Still not feeling great though. went to the gym for some stretching and a sauna. sat on the bike and let legs turn for a few minutes watching chelsea/liverpool highlights. pretty good. nae goals though.

some ankle stuff and kneeling on a fitball. then plenty strecthing and a nice sauna. crackin. its fun having no uni.
