(rest day)

Day started well, watched match of the day, then helped Jess sort out some stuff, went to homebase, watched old firm derby and had lunch. Then helped Jess sort out some more stuff (didn't actually help that much) then I started feeling pretty sick. Think the blame may lie on chocolate cake that id out of date and has been sitting out uncover all week that I kept eating bits off. Realised that mice have probably shat on it. anyway. then drove Jess to the station and stupid half eaten large pot of yogurt that I had been given got spilt all over the back seats. Never put an opened pot of yoghurt on a car seat. So I had to wash that up. At this point I was still feeling a bit stick, it was still pissing it down and the gym was closed. So I watched the TV instead of training. Oh well.

Hill run in the Pentlands with Doug. Decent day. Lots of walker out. Passed one other pair of runners. Starting at Flotterstone, went up over Turnhouse, then Carnethy, then down valley to the bottom and onto the north ridge, went up Hare hill which was rough as a bdgers arse, clearly not many walkers venture there. Then back over Black hill and next hill along then down to road and back to the car park. Really good day out. Ran pretty hard all the way.

Cycle out in the morning after exam. Nice day for once! Out for 30mins through Prestonpans then back. Good to be out. Into a slight wind on the way back which made it a bit less fun!

Run on the seat with Doug and CK. Up the crags then along path to gate in wall and through to park out the back. Then followed some dodgy ck route through the woods and got stung by nettles. stupid ck. then ran up onto winney hill and looped around a bit then home. just went steady all the way. legs hurting from previous days gym.

First weights session in ages mostly due to uni away from Edinburgh. Hurt quite a lot!
