Running race 20:00 [4] 5.0 km (4:00 / km)
shoes: Brooks mach 9

East District XC champs.
So today wasn't a lot of fun:(
Hadn't been feeling great in the morning, just generally a bit exhausted, but told myself to stop being a wimp and get out there. So I made it to the start line. Plan was to start steady again, which I did, but problem was this steady didn't feel nice. Just felt generally poor and weak. At the end of the first lap wasn't doing well and knew I would have died on the second lap. So dropped out. Not nice having to do this, but wouldn't have been beneficial finishing. Probably got Doug's cold. Rubbish. Hopefully a rest day or two will sort me out.

(rest day)

Tired today. Did walk to Murrayfield to watch the Edinburgh game. Was awful!

Orienteering 36:30 [3] 5.0 km (7:18 / km)
shoes: olways

FWTN 5 at Craiglockhart. Had been feeling tired but ran pretty well tonight. Best orienteering I have done in a while. Managed to stay ahead of myself which was important with the course going all over the place! Missed at no.1 (control not the best placed!) and no.22. Apart from that good run.

Running 1:35:00 [3] 15.0 km (6:20 / km)
shoes: Walsh pb trainer2

Had origionally been planning a road bike... Then cycling back to the flat I wasn't so sure, the roads were lethal. Got into the flat and Andrew pointed out the Pentlands. That was where I headed. Quick call to Coombsy and Scotia and we were there. Awesome run, 3in of snow everywhere. Best run in ages. Took a camera - photos here http://www.new.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2225199&...
sweeeeet.

runners circuits 1:00:00 [3]
shoes: Brooks adrenaline

Pretty tired after this mornings effort! Bishop was away so it was me taking the circuits. Did a variety of stuff. I just don't have the s&c related banter that Steve has though:(

Running 50:29 [3] 10.5 km (4:48 / km)
ahr:160 max:175 shoes: Brooks trance 7

Had been feeling really tired yesterday, but a loong sleep until 10.30 seemed to sort me out. Meant to just go for a steady run but ended up running quite fast and felt pretty good. Not sore from yesterday which is nice. Ran round Braids and Blackford, one of the quickest times. Crackin.
