Cycling long 1:43:24 [2] 45.54 km (2:16 / km) +473m 2:10 / km
ahr:135 max:168

Took a wee while to drag my ass out the door this morning, but so glad I did! Crackin day for a bike ride. Past Wallace monument then left up the steep road onto the hills. My legs were not liking this bit! Out the saddle in the granny ring, wheel starts slipping on the damp road, not what you want! Once up took a left after a while down to the A9. Managed to cross this after a couple of mins wait then out to Braco and then nice b road to Dunblane and back through bridge of Allan to home. Pace very steady but was never going to be anything else. had four oatcakes on return.

Orienteering race 1:04:44 [5] 9.0 km (7:12 / km) +320m 6:06 / km
ahr:169 max:183 shoes: Walsh pb trainer 3

Six day day 6, Loch Ordie. Feeling a bit fatigued on the way to the start but tried to push hard. Was a bit scrappy and found the going tough. Don't think I was taking the best routes at times. Kept trying to push, but made a couple of stupid misses on the end. Dissapointed to finish quite well down in the end. Probably a combination of scrappy orienteering, tiredness, unfitness and maybe an early start. Good to be out though.

Extra value Murray called it! Collected in ten controls for Mr Eades. By the end legs weren't the problem, it was shoulders and hands that were hurting! Had a look at the views this time out. Very nice:)

Cycling 43:39 [2] 23.13 km (1:53 / km)

Nice cruisy cycle round a flat little loop out past Cambusbarron. Nice weather. Admiring the countryside. Some combines on the go. Had a wee stretch when I got back. Ate two oatcakes. One with jam, one with cheese (never together, that;s for weirdos)

Running 1:00:37 [3] 10.0 km (6:04 / km) +453m 4:57 / km
ahr:149 max:173 shoes: Brooks trance 7

Nice night and really needed the fresh air! Ran from Wallace monument car park through Stirling Uni and up Dumyat on the paths. Kept a steady pace, felt a bit sluggish but no walking required. Admired the view for 1min at the top.

Cycling 1:09:00 [3] 32.68 km (2:07 / km) +361m 2:00 / km
ahr:150

Got out the OS map and picked a route. Turned out to be a cracker sure to be repeated. South west ish across the M9 and a loop past Sauchie Crags and a resevoir. Way out had several very steep climbs - tough. Way back was awesome - very fast long straightish downhill stretch. Loop didn't take that long so did it again. Had to call on all of my limited bike handling skills to avoid collision with mini on second lap. Crackin ride.
