Wee run out with the Stirling road club. About 2min late and they had already left, bollocks! A group were just leaving as I got there. They turned out to be the social group. Luckily middle group not far up the road so caught them. Then by chance we caught the fast group in Dunblane so jumped the gap to them. Big group today of around 20. Never really struggled with the pace. Was a bit rusty with the old group riding though. Good sesh. Gutted about the rugby:( We were robbed.

Orienteering race 39:26 [4] 8.68 km (4:33 / km) +158m 4:10 / km
ahr:164 max:182 shoes: Walsh pb trainer 3

FVO night event in Dunblane. Hard work with the 1-15000 map and battling the cunning old boys with their local knowledge! Managed to get a wee gap in the lead then hesitated and made a small miss and Dixie was there and running strongly. Punched the last together then had to race it out to the finish. Long drag up a hill. Hit it as hard as I could and gutted myself to the finish to sneak the win. Got a bit worried when I thought I might blow up and really hadn't pulled away from Martin that much! Good fun. Smashing soup and cakes afterwards too.
