Orienteering 1:20:00 [3] 6.0 km (13:20 / km)

SEDs training in Inchmarnoch. Lines and control picking. Snow unbelievably tough today. Got a bit lost half way round and very nearly didn't get going again at all. Left hip quite sore too. Felt it first on Wednesday night. ah well, enforced rest week coming up!

SEDs training at Sluie. Very tough in the snow. 3 loops of around 2.5km. Orienteering a bit scrappy and phsyically struggled a bit.

Orienteering 40:00 [5] 5.5 km (7:16 / km)

SEDs trains on shooting greens. Crackin courses from Jon. First one was a mass start. Never quite made it to the front of the train in that one. Next three did proper trains with Toni, Ewan, Murray and Cheps. Orienteering went pretty well. Sneaked in first in the first one. Still tough in the snow but felt better than the morning. Good training. The challenge is to take that level of intensity into the races running on your own!

FVO night event at Barr Wood. Wet snow falling added to the challenge. With Rosco and Roger until number nine where I got away a wee bit then on my own after that. Few small misses but went quite well for the most part to get another win. 6/6 :)

Collecting controls. Torchstarted getting pretty dim at the far end and had run completely flat by the time I got back.

Yound Tom Ryan to try and keep in my sights tonight. 6 x 3min/1min jog recovery. Managing average 900m for the 3min. Decent even pace.
