Run at home with Doug, CK and Jess. Out over Bowanhill to the top of Skelfhill Pen. Quite warm and muggy on the way out, then chilly cloud covering the top of the pen. Then we headed along round the outside of Phaup forestry and the rain came. It was bloody freezing, not helped by the fact we were in shorts and t-shirts. Headed down into the forest and back along the forest road. Pissing it down, everyones arms went a bit numb. Back over the binks onto Bowanhill and home. Job done:) Good to see Jess going well. Roast dinner made it all worthwhile.

British Middle Champs at Haverthwaite. Nice sunny day on a top area. Plan was to be in control and get the orienteering right today. Managed to run with enough control to cut out any big mistakes, but still pretty scrappy with lots of small misses. Nice to be winning when I came in and always good to beat all the juniors! Annoying to lose out to Ck by 2s! Happy with the placing, but plenty of work in training to be done....I can't go on getting beat by Doug by this much....!

Working 8-8.30 Monday-Thursday. Oportunity to go to the pub ost work was tempting...but went home and went for a run instead:) La of Kings park then towards the castle. 6 x hill reps on the paths up towards the castle then back down the roads through town to home.
