Another sunny day in Stirling:) After looking at the jukola results and inspired by younger bro's 14th on long night headed out for a long run. Set off in the heat of the day with some go powder and sultanas for fuel. Ran through Polamise then over all three Sauchie Crags. Really like that route. Then down the far side to the road, turned right then off into the hills up the Bannock burn. Had my first stop for here. Chewed down some go powder with bannock burn water. Carried on up, nice breeze keeping me cool. Over one top then north across the road tothe top of Earls hill (lots of masts on the top of it.) From here the next chunk was all tussocks and heather with nae paths. tough going! down the other side to earlsburn resevoir no. 2 (wee refuel here) then up to resevoir no.1. On from here back toward Stilring over the hills. Tough slog to begin with then down the hill to the southmost Touch resevoir. From here onto some nicer ground then cut through a wee bit of wood joining the road at some houses below the water plant. Down through the fields then along the road. By this point I was shattered and the last bit of road run was a battle. Back home through cammbusbarron then collapse! water/juice/chocolate milk with ice cream floater to refuel:) job done!
