shoes: Inov8 x-talon

Wee run in the evening after breakfast. into the woods across the road. Took the track off to the right and carried on this time exploring some new places, some tough rides and a cut through some thick forest then back round the track to home. Felt bit sick to begin with but felt fine in 2nd half. Good to get some fresh air!

Wee run in the evening post night shift (1st of 7). Not a whole lot of sleep on board so felt a bit grotty to begin with but fine by the end. Did the bay-castle-coast-hills loop. Right achilles grumbling a bit. less running seems to make it worse...

Off during the day as starting nights tonight. Wee training run on Airds park. Tough in places with half dead but thick bracken but crackin area. Tricky course on a 20 year old 1:15 map. Was pretty shaky in a few places drifting off line and having trouble with the vague shapes. Feeling OK again but found it physically tough too. Good fun.
