Running long 1:52:00 [3] 14.0 km (8:00 / km) +600m 6:35 / km
shoes: Inov8 X talon 2011

Long run in the Pentlands. Started off with the girls at a fairly decent pace then summoned some energy to go on myself and took in another few hill turning at the top of Black hill and back up the valley to the top of Allemuir and home.

Running race 36:03 [4] 9.2 km (3:55 / km) +150m 3:37 / km

Braids XC. OK run. Started very steady so mid pack to begin with then began to pick off people and held a steady pace. In hindsight should have started a bit quicker as just wasted time boxed in further back for no real gain. Never mind. Feeling slightly under the weather anyway.

What a crackin day! and the ideal day to have a half day. Made the most of it with a run in the hills along past Ardchatten. Started down near the loch and ran up Beinn Mheadhonach (715). Panorma from the top stunning. The run was tough, steep to begin with then pretty tough terrain all the way. Loved it. Dropped down then had a steep 200m climb up Beinn Duirinnis and down the broad ridge back to the road.

core/balance gym work 1:00:00 [2]

Bit tired after the run so didnt do anything very heavy. Some olympic moves then core stuff, achilles exercies and finished with power plate.
