Busier night - mostly sleeping today. Turbo trainer steady.

HFW. 6 hours sleep last night. Bonus.

Wee run from home. Back to reality - grey and damp. Felt OK considering. Steady pace. Coast, over the hills to the highest point then home. Didn't feel foot so not too bothered about it. Started feeling left calf a bit but think a rub will sort it out.

Not sure how many wet and windy days you have to endure to earn a day like this? Barely a cloud in the sky and no wind with a touch of frost on the ground. Stunning day for a run. Long one up Beinn Bhreac (708) from Glen Salach. Got to the top in 35mins then along the ridge to the eastern top before dropping back down and up Beinn Molurgainn. Saw a big stag coming down the ridge then a couple of younger ones. The 1:50000 OS map didn't do the Eas na Gearr burn justice and it turned out to be quite a deep gorge, so a wee detour further down needed before home. Not sure what the gaelic meaning is?

Wasnt really feeling it tonight but got a session in. Some SLDLs, lunges, achilles exercises and stretching.

At the GPs in Grantown so had a wee night o session around Anagach. Run out on paths then a control pick. Found the contours very vague in places so quite tough.

Intervals with the usual crowd. Did slightly longer reps than the rest which worked well. 12 x ~240m with 45s rest. Flying on the way out with wind behind, tough into the wind on the way back. Good session tonight, last couple were really tough.

Pre breakfast turbo trainer. Watched some sherlock.
Immediately afterwards felt like it was the evening and time for dinner....then remembered it was time for breakfast and a 12 1/2hr work shift. Rubbish!
