Run around a track loop in Docharn in the morning pre work. Was a struggle to get out but managed.

If Tuesday felt like the start of winter training this felt like the start for sure! Night hill reps in the wood in an inch of snow with more falling. Loved this session. Tough but satisfying. 7 reps all between 2.01 and last in 1.50.

Bit tired - 4hrs sleep then a course all day. Easy turbo session watching shinty/hurling international.

Quick run around the wood. Set out for an hours run then after a few minutes brain clicked into gear and realised my calculations of the time I had before needing to leave for work was an hour out....oops, so run was curtailed.

Intervals. First run of a session down the back of dulNain wood on the track. Nice section of track, bit of give underfoot but not too slippy. Few wee undulations. 4 reps which by GPS turns out to be about 1.04km - ideal. Ran the reps focussing on good form not pushing too hard. Times 3.51, 3.39, 3.43.3.35 with 2 min in rests. Felt fine. Could feel yesterdays gym but not in a bad way.
Nice place to do reps, aim is to do this sessions once a week, add on another rep or two then bring down the recoveries.

Run around anagach after the gym. The fog had lifted while indoors. Beautiful day.
