INVOC event at Anagach. Brown course. Had originally planned to run this hard but beforehand reverted to cruising it and keeping the orienteering smooth. Did this well until slightly left on no.16 - swear I was on line befoe the path though. Then a bit left on no. 18. About 20s in each case probably. Then proceeded to bin a couple of minutes on no 21. crossed 3 paths instead of 2. had just switched off I think. Contours are weird around here though. Made a very similar mistake in training not so long ago. Rest was better and quite smooth through the control pick at the end passing a couple of folk here. Happy to cruise round in 52mins. Hope yet.

Moravian Saturday morning league at a new area Mayne Wood next to Elgin. Good wee area and decent course with plenty direction changes. Pushed hard and was moving quite well. Couple of small 15s mistakes. Map needed another contour at no. 10 which Steve also picked up on the run. Good fun. Managed to keep young Barr safely at bay.

Run in Abernethy. About 1hr of it in terrain at a decent effort level. Tough but v enjoyable. Felt tired beforehand but OK running. Saw 3 caper (1 male, 2 females) and a big red deer stag.
