Wee sessions around Rothiemurchus with Jess. First train good then next 2 rubbish. went a bit awol. need to check the gps to find out exactly what I did on the second one. Bit tried I think.

8 hill reps in the wood. Had Midge for company on the third one and her speediness up the hill meant a quickest ever rep for me so tough session after that. She appeared again on the 4th one leaving Jess and coming yelping down the hill in excitement then coming along for the whole rep. She was loving it! What a good wee dog we have :-)

Course on Craigellachie. Tough! First half mostly uphill. Nav pretty good. Need to do a few hill reps.

Cairngorm runners 5km time trial. On a track starting from near the hayfield. Hill to start and finish with. Tom set off fast but went past after about 500m so on my own for the rest. Legs felt a bit fatigued after the orienteering so didn't ever feel like I got into top gear. Still hoped to break 17min but not to be. Happy enough with the effort on the night.

Early morning run before a 9-22 work shift. Legs feeling unsurprisingly heavy. Right knee a bit better so lengthy foam roller work last night must have helped. Mast and back via the field.
