Orienteering race 59:27 [3] 8.92 km (6:40 / km) +168m 6:06 / km
ahr:153 max:166 shoes: Icebugs 2014

Scottish Score at Achlean. Still not feeling great so just planned to run steady for an hour. Head felt a bit fuzzy and not very focussed and made 4 mistakes of about 30s x 3 and 1min x 1. Annoyed with that otherwise was good fun. Left out the one high up the hill though could have got it within 70min

Running long 1:59:55 [3] 18.93 km (6:20 / km) +701m 5:21 / km
ahr:144 max:162 shoes: Inov8 Roclite 305

Run from home up Beinn Mhor then along to the far end of the Gorten ridge then back along the top of the ridge. This section was tough - heavy heather and into a stiff wind. Back through Gaich. Pretty tired from the start but ground it out and good to get it done.

Orienteering 51:04 [2] 7.92 km (6:27 / km) +62m 6:12 / km
ahr:134 max:153 shoes: Inov8 Roclite 2014

In Anagach pre gym. Compass this time so track run to begin with then sveral legs just purely running on compass. Practiced turing the housing to try and be more accurate. Went OK on the whole, need to speed it up though. Probably useful in vague terrain like this at night. Tough in the heavy heather and legs feeling quite tired
8 PM

core/balance gym work 1:15:00 [3]

Knee exercises then body balance class

Running intervals 23:27 [5] 5.5 km (4:16 / km) +7m 4:14 / km
ahr:161 max:176 shoes: Inov8 Roclite 2014

Intervals on the track in the wood. Wasn't feeling 100% this morning - bit queezy, but got out and did the reps. Good decision. Felt better than last week and times slightly better with one more rep. New garmin doesn't seem to let the recorded splits show on attackpoint but times were decent.

Running warm up/down 6:25 [1] 0.92 km (6:57 / km) +23m 6:11 / km
ahr:138 max:151 shoes: Inov8 Roclite 2014

BASOC training at Tulloch. Planned by Chris G with a wee bit of help from me. Using an OS map blown up to 1:15000 around bits of Abernethy forest. Enjoyed it and managed to navigate well
