Long O on the Ochils. Planned by GG....not ran by GG....a telling point perhaps! Tussocks or icy snow drifts pretty much all the way. Clag down the whole time. Windy and wet. Other than that...perfect conditions! Went to number one (69mins) then back along a fence line to Blairdenon and back. Quick refuel in Corrieris afterwards.

Sprint O sessions in Dunblane. Mass start forked affairs. Good fun, if very slippy. Took it pretty steady on the 1st. Picked up the pace on the 2nd ha;f of the 2nd - only to bin it at the end. Cruised the start of the third then picked up the pace to win that one. Steady on the first half of the last one and couldn't catch the young uns ahead.

Auchingarroch night O. Great fun. Enjoyed this much more than the last time I ran here. Generally OK other than one where the map was wrong and one where the reflector wasn't there. got caught by Spongey and was a bit scrappier direction wise in the last half

Long run in Rothiemurchus on the paths. Snow all the way but mostly hard and compacted. Started from Coylumbridge. South then across to Loch an Eilan (frozen) and up Ord Ban hill - snow quite deep in places on the top but lovely powder. Back down and round the loch then the wee loch - tempted to run across the ice, probably would have held but didn't attempt something that stupid. Back over then up Glen Einich. Tracked vehicle had been up here squashing down the snow but it was still a bit tougher going than earlier. Looped up the higher track then back down the glen all the way to the car. Enjoyable run.

5 reps of the track in the wood with 90s recovery. Tough today. Probably a few factors - minus 7, pre breakfast, track covered with mixture of snow and ice. Times were 10s down but still worked hard so I suppose job done
